For our Marketing team in the EMEA headquarter in Frankfurt am Main, Coleman currently is looking for a
Trade Manager (m/f) EMEA
Principal responsibilities:
Point of sales material:
• Manages the point of sales and printing materials (including manufacture of samples and mass production, purchasing, printing, artwork development, assortment, logistics, packaging, budget)
• Collaborates with local trade managers to turn the “selling stories” into sales tools to effectively present the brands, the products and the marketing initiatives to their customers
• Develop an EMEA annual catalogue of POS items starting at the sales meeting and produced / delivered in a timely manner
• Select a pool of key agencies and build up strong relationship (service, costing, lead time, production follow up, quality testing)
• Implement new processes to drive the trade strategy implementation with coherence and budget efficiency (no local production, set strict order windows, forecast accuracy, annual schedule)
• Collection and consolidation of requirements and orders from the markets
• Contract local merchandising agencies to ensure a correct installation at the point of sale
• Develop reporting tools to control the implementation and adapt the needs to the distribution opportunities
• Collaborates with marketing intelligence resource to read and report results of activities and to provide recommendations and forecasts
• Ensures efficient spending of central budget and supervises the trade marketing spending in the subsidiaries, achieve budget savings by reducing the assortment and consolidating the orders
• Ensures a constant communication with markets to collect their input, guarantee that the local feedback is taken into account by regularly visiting sales teams, customers and stores
• Ensure the markets are fully briefed on relevant material and that their needs are met
• Ensure consistency in style and quality of POS materials, ensuring the global communication is accurate
• Develop innovative POP items for the show room and international fairs
• Monitor and share retail marketing development / best practice from competitors
• When required attend key retailer presentations
Coordination of product catalogues and consumer brochures for the 5 brands:
• Refresh and update each brand design
• Conception of catalogues structure (including new assortment and related content)
• Collection and inclusion of visuals such as renderings / images / sketches
• Development of new icons and visual material where applicable
• Coordination and review of copywriting in consumer language including the production of new ones where relevant
• Management of graphic design agencies in terms of content and design execution
• Organization of printing and shipment to markets after coordination of their requirements
• Assisting markets with queries and requests regarding the production of their trade catalogues
Profile and competences:
• 5 year experience minimum
• Experience working across EMEA or an international environment preferable
• Excellent English and German speaker
• Graduated in Marketing / Communication
• Previously managed external relationships with third party suppliers in POS material / printing
• Must have strong contacts with POS material / printing suppliers
• Ability to execute and deliver (“doer”)
• Aptitude to communicate information across multi language markets and continents
• Previous experience at supporting markets and marketing unit
• Previous experience in demonstrating successful hands-on operational
• Ability to synthesize large amounts of information into concise recommendations and action
• Good Project Management and copywright skills
• Multitasks, flexible, ability to fit a small team unit
• Some occasional travel required, within Europe
