About the Unit
Yara Industrial GmbH, located in Bad Hönningen, is a German subsidiary of Yara International ASA which produces industrial gases and chemicals, such as carbon dioxide, dry ice, NUTRIOX®- and DeNOx products and sells them in the most diverse industrial sectors. Yara’s Industrial Business Unit CO2 is the leading producer of carbon dioxide and dry ice in Europe, a result of Yara’s role as Europe’s largest producer of ammonia.In order to further expand our successful and growing business in this area, we are looking for a Sales Engineer – Inerting Business (m/f). The Business Unit is based in Bad Hönningen, Germany, but the workplace might be in Central Europe with international scope.
Responsibilities
• Create, along with the Inerting Business team, a growing global market position for Yara in the area of inerting flammable liquids and dusts – currently focused mainly in the cement and lime industries
• Responsible for the acquisition of global enquiries as well as customer support and consultancy
• Negotiate contracts, prepare quotations, support agency sales, monitor competition and perform technical liaison
• Assist in analysing the benefits and synergies within the Yara Industrial Segment, allowing the system to be installed in a variety of complimentary markets, such as thermal recovery
Your Profile
• Master-, Bachelor- or Technician degree with emphasis on process engineering, mechanical engineering or industrial engineering
• 3-5 years of professional experience in selling complex applications, requiring detailed explanation of technical products
• Previous experience in the cement industry would be an advantage
• Sound knowledge of MS Office applications; SAP knowledge would be an asset
• Excellent spoken and written English, with knowledge of German being a further advantage
• Flexible and ready to take initiative and show commitment
• Good team worker, but also as a self-motivated, highly organised individual
• Willing to frequently travel internationally
