Sales and Product Application Engineer (m/f)
for Induction Hardening Machines
EFD Induction in Freiburg is the group centre of excellence for induction heating machines applied in various industrial heating processes. The Freiburg location cooperates closely with group companies in Romania, France and Norway in design and manufacture of equipment and heat processes adapted to customers’ needs primarily in the automotive sector. To increase the sales activities for the European market we will strengthen our team in Freiburg by adding a new sales engineer.
Responsibility and tasks:
• Sales budget planning and responsibility
• Consulting of existing customer base
• Acquisition of new customers
• Preparation of quotations, including description of technical concepts, processes and solutions, review of T&Cs
• Preparation, conduction and evaluation of meetings with customers
• Hand-over of projects to project management
• Market research and analysis, monitoring of competition
Requirements:
• Graduate engineer, Master or Bachelor of mechanical or electrical engineering
• Self-organizer target-oriented
• Good communication skills and fluency in spoken and written German and English
• Open-minded, authentic and reliable nature for convincing our clients in a friendly manner, team player
• Several years of experience in a technical B2B sales environment constitutes an advantage
